someone should mention the very handy porteasy tool

/usr# porteasy -u www/apache22 
 
will pull apache + its depends
 
I use porteasy because I dont like to have the entire ports tree in /usr/ports. I only have what I actually install.(it might need a setenv CVSROOT). anyway just thought it should be here 'cause its cool!

This category is intended to relate directly to binary packages and the ports tree - how to maintain and administer the package collection and ports tree themselves, which ports or packages are particularly useful, how to address problems with compiling the trickier ports or get around dependency issues with the more complex packages, et cetera.
