activeX and java are not the same and don't have anything do to with each other. I don't know why you'd even mention it. Installing Java is not impossible, just really hard. On FreeBSD/SPARC it's not possible (the compile complains about the architecture type not being intel/x86 and fails).

Should this really be called Errors to Avoid? 'errors' makes me think of actual error messages returned from programs.
