[edit] they really can't be
The wiki automatically capitalizes the first letter of an article, whether you entered it that way or not. --Jimbo 08:20, 27 April 2006 (EDT)
[edit] is there a reason?
for the way it sometimes takes the / out?--Dave 09:46, 27 April 2006 (EDT)
[edit] you can force a leading slash, but it's not worth it
It's because a slash is, well, how you separate directories on a webserver. It's possible to force a leading slash, but it's just not worth it - it makes it extremely difficult to link to from other articles, you wind up having to set up a redirect page for every single article, it's harder to search for... just not worth it. I actually used to have them forced and I took it out because I got tired of dealing with it. --Jimbo 19:27, 27 April 2006 (EDT)
